Dr. Aaron Frodsham is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), critical limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), venous disease, diabetic foot complications, nonhealing wounds, and other complex vascular disorders. With advanced training at Yale University and Brown University and more than 15 years in independent practice, Dr. Frodsham has dedicated much of his career to helping patients restore circulation, preserve limbs, heal wounds, and improve quality of life through minimally invasive vascular treatments.

 

Dr. Frodsham completed his Radiology residency at Yale University’s Hospital of St. Raphael and his Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Brown University’s Rhode Island Hospital. He has practiced in both academic and private settings, including at University of Utah Health, where he participated in the multidisciplinary management of complex vascular and spine disorders. 

 

In 2016, Dr. Frodsham helped establish one of Utah’s first comprehensive outpatient interventional clinics focused on vascular, spine, and musculoskeletal care. Through this work, he helped pioneer a patient-centered outpatient model for advanced image-guided procedures, improving convenience, continuity of care, and access to minimally invasive treatment options. 

 

At Precision Vein & Vascular, Dr. Frodsham focuses on advanced vascular evaluation and minimally invasive treatment for patients with arterial and venous disease, especially those with diabetes, nonhealing wounds, limb-threatening ischemia, and complex circulation problems. His approach emphasizes early diagnosis, vascular ultrasound evaluation, thoughtful patient selection, and coordinated care with wound care specialists, podiatrists, primary care providers, and other members of the patient’s care team.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Frodsham enjoys skiing, surfing, yoga, hiking, biking, traveling, and spending time at the ocean with family and friends. He has lived abroad in Portugal and Brazil, is fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish, and enjoys learning about different cultures through travel and personal experiences.
